What Happens After You Submit Your Tour Request
“From Form to Visit – Your Journey with Us”
We know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with your childcare choice. That’s why we invite you to come and see everything for yourself.
Once you submit your tour form:
- You’ll receive an email confirmation about your booking details
- You’ll receive a warm welcome from our Centre Director, who will personally show you around
- We’ll spend quality time together, going at your pace – no rushing!
- We would love it if you could bring your little one along if you’d like – we love meeting our future families
During your visit, you’ll get to:
- Peek into our cosy learning spaces and see children happily engaged in play
- Meet the educators who could be caring for your child
- Ask all those questions that keep you up at night (we’ve all been there!)
- See our outdoor areas where children explore and discover
- Watch our daily routines in action – meal times, story sessions, and free play
- Get a real feel for whether this feels like the right fit for your family
You’ll discover things you never thought to ask about:
- How do the children interact with each other during playtime?
- What does lunchtime actually look like? (Spoiler: it’s beautifully chaotic!)
- How do the educators handle a toddler meltdown with such patience and care?
- Why do the children seem so genuinely happy and settled?
You’ll get honest answers to your real concerns:
- “What if my child doesn’t settle well?”
- “How will you handle my child’s food allergies?”
- “What happens if I’m running late for pickup?”

Most importantly, you’ll feel it – that sense of “yes, this could work for us” or “hmm, maybe we need to keep looking.” And both responses are completely okay! We want you to feel 100% confident in your choice.

What if my child clings to me during the tour?
Normal! Most children do this in new environments. Our educators are experts at giving children space while still making them feel welcome. We might offer a book to look at together or show them something interesting, but never push. You know your child best, and we’ll follow your lead.
Will you think less of us if we tour but don't enrol?
Not at all! We’d much rather you feel completely confident in your choice. Some families tour multiple centres (we did too!), and others need time to think it over. We respect whatever decision works best for your family.
What should I be looking for during the tour?
Trust your instincts! Notice how the children interact with the educators. Do they seem comfortable and happy? Are the educators genuinely engaged with the children, or just supervising? How does your child respond to the environment? These gut feelings often tell you more than any checklist.
Can I ask about fees and subsidies during the tour?
Absolutely! We’re completely transparent about our fees and happy to explain how childcare subsidies work. Money matters, and you must understand all the costs upfront.
What if we love it, but you don't have spaces?
We’ll be upfront about our availability from the start. If we’re full, we’re happy to discuss our waiting list and give you a realistic timeframe. We can also suggest other great centres in the area – we know most of them personally!

After Your Tour – What Happens Next?
“No Pressure, Just Support”
After your visit, we know you’ll want to go home and talk it over as a family. That’s exactly what you should do! This is a big decision, and we respect that.
If Saige feels like the right fit for your family:
Gather your paperwork – We’ll need:
- Your child’s birth certificate (a certified copy)
- Up-to-date immunisation records
- Emergency contact information
- Any medical action plans if your child has specific health needs
- Family circumstances info (if you’re applying for childcare subsidies)
Settle your child in gently – We’ll arrange some short visits so your little one can get comfortable with their new environment and educators before their official start date.
If you’re still unsure – That’s completely okay too! Feel free to call us with any follow-up questions. Sometimes families visit us twice before making their decision, and that’s perfectly fine.
If it’s not quite right, we understand that every child and family is unique. If our centre doesn’t feel like the perfect match, we’re happy to suggest other wonderful childcare options in the area. We’re all in this together as parents!
