Childcare near Oran Park
Saige Early Learning
Looking for quality childcare near Oran Park? Saige Early Learning is just a 5-minute drive away in neighbouring Gregory Hills, located at 67–77 Lasso Road. We provide warm, nurturing early education for children from birth to 5 years old in a purpose-built centre where your child is known by name, not just a number on a roll.
Oran Park is one of Sydney’s fastest-growing communities, and we know that finding the right childcare centre can feel overwhelming with so many options out there. At Saige, we offer something different: a locally owned centre with enriched programs, genuine educator relationships, and the kind of care that gives you complete peace of mind. We’re open 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, and we provide everything your child needs — freshly prepared meals, sunscreen, nappies, wipes, and sheets.

Why Oran Park Families Choose Saige Early Learning
Oran Park has transformed from a former raceway into one of Sydney’s most vibrant masterplanned communities in just over a decade. With thousands of young families now calling it home, the Oran Park Podium buzzing with shops and cafes, new schools opening, and a future train station on the way, it’s easy to see why the suburb keeps growing. But with all that growth comes demand — and finding a childcare centre that genuinely feels right for your family can be a challenge.
That’s where Saige comes in. We’re just a 5-minute drive from Oran Park, sitting right off Gregory Hills Drive in neighbouring Gregory Hills. Whether you’re heading along Peter Brock Drive or Dick Johnson Drive towards Camden Valley Way, or commuting south towards Campbelltown and the M5, our centre is a natural and easy stop on your daily route.
We’re not a franchise and we’re not part of a corporate chain. We’re a locally owned centre where decisions about your child’s care are made by people you see every day at drop-off — not by a head office interstate. That means smaller class sizes feel smaller, educator relationships run deeper, and your feedback is actually heard and acted on.

Useful FAQs
Who is eligible for CCS in NSW?
To be eligible for CCS, families must meet certain criteria. The child must be 13 years or younger and not attending secondary school. Both parents, or a single parent, must meet the work, training, study, or volunteering requirements. Families must also meet the income requirements set by the government. Additionally, the child care service must be approved by the government.
How do I apply for the Child Care Subsidy?
You can apply for CCS through your myGov account. Once your application is submitted, Services Australia will assess your eligibility and inform you of how much subsidy you can receive. You must also provide your details to Saige Early Learning to ensure the subsidy is applied to your fees.
How much CCS will I receive?
The exact amount of subsidy you will receive is calculated based on your family’s circumstances, including income, the number of children in care, and the type of care. You will be notified of your subsidy rate once Services Australia processes your application. Use the CCS calculator to find out how much you can save at Saige Early Learning.
What happens if my child is absent from care?
CCS is paid for a limited number of absences, up to 42 days per year. If your child is absent beyond this limit, additional absences may not be covered unless there are exceptional circumstances, such as illness or emergencies.
What if my income changes during the year?
It’s important to update your income details through your myGov account if your circumstances change. This ensures that your subsidy is adjusted accordingly. Failing to do so may result in an overpayment or underpayment of the subsidy.
Do I need to reapply for the Child Care Subsidy each year?
Yes, you will need to confirm your eligibility each year. Services Australia will send you a reminder to update your details before your current subsidy expires.

Starting in January 2026, Australian families will benefit from the new 3-Day Guarantee, a groundbreaking policy that makes early childhood education more accessible for everyone. If your family is eligible for Child Care Subsidy, you’ll automatically be guaranteed at least 72 hours (three days) of subsidised early learning every fortnight for each child. The best part? You won’t need to prove how many hours you work, study, or volunteer—the old Activity Test is being removed. This means that whether you’re working full-time, part-time, studying, looking for work, or staying at home, your child can access quality early education. Families with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children receive even more support, with 100 hours of subsidised care per fortnight. This policy recognises that all children deserve access to early learning opportunities that help them develop, socialise, and prepare for school, regardless of their families’ circumstances.
