From your very first enquiry through to your child’s confident first day, our caring team is here to guide and support you every step of the way. We believe that starting early learning should be a celebration, not a source of anxiety.

What We’ll Need to Know:

Step 2:

Book Your Personal Centre Tour

What Your Tour Includes:

  • Guided exploration of our age-specific learning environments
  • Meet our educators and ask questions about their qualifications and approach
  • See our programs in action during regular operating hours
  • Discuss your child’s specific needs and how we can support their development
  • Learn about our curriculum and daily routines
  • Explore our outdoor spaces and safety features
  • Review our policies regarding meals, rest times, and communication

    Step 3:

    Complete Your Enrolment

    Your Enrolment Pack Includes:

    • Enrolment Agreement – Terms of care, fees, and policies
    • Child Information Forms – Detailed information about your child’s routines, preferences, and development
    • Health & Medical Records – Immunisation records, medical conditions, allergies, and emergency contacts
    • Authorised Persons List – Who can collect your child and emergency contacts

    Once you’ve submitted your details, you’ll receive a confirmation email with helpful information about our programs and what to expect next. When a place becomes available that matches your requirements, our enrolment coordinator will contact you personally to discuss availability and guide you through the next steps.

    Tour Options:

    • Weekday tours during program time to see our centre in full swing
    • Early morning or late afternoon tours for working parents
    • Weekend tours by special arrangement
    • Virtual tours available for families unable to visit in person.
    • Dietary Requirements – Food allergies, preferences, and cultural considerations
    • Permission Forms – Excursions, water play, sunscreen application, and photography
    • Payment Information – Fee schedules, payment methods, and account setup

    Step 4:

    Apply for Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

    Most Australian families are eligible for financial support through the government’s Child Care Subsidy (CCS), which can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket childcare expenses.

    Getting Started with CCS:

    • Apply online through your myGov account before your child starts care
    • Provide required documents including income statements and family details
    • Link your CCS to your Saige Early Learning account
    • Receive instant benefits from your child’s first day

    Step 5:

    Gentle Orientation Sessions

    Our Orientation Approach:

    • Two “Stay and Play” sessions where you and your child visit together
    • Gradual introduction to educators, routines, and the physical environment
    • Personalised settling strategies based on your child’s temperament and needs
    • Information sharing about your child’s interests, comfort items, and routines
    • Building relationships between your child and their primary educators

      Step 6:

      Your Child’s First Official Day

      What to Expect:

      • Personal welcome from your child’s primary educator
      • Settling support with comfort items and favourite activities ready
      • Regular updates throughout the day via our app and phone calls
      • Photo sharing so you can see your child’s engagement and happiness
      • End-of-day recap discussing highlights, meals, rest, and social interactions

        • Understand your entitlements and how the system works
        • Navigate the application process with step-by-step guidance
        • Troubleshoot any issues with your CCS claims or payments

        What Happens During Orientation:

        • Meet key educators who will be caring for your child
        • Explore the learning environments at your child’s pace
        • Participate in activities suitable for your child’s age and interests
        • Observe daily routines like meal times, rest periods, and transitions
        • Ask questions and share important information about your child
        • Take photos to help your child remember their new space

          Communication Throughout the Day:

          • Storypark app updates with photos and learning observations
          • Phone calls, if needed for settling or important updates
          • Text messages for quick reassurance or information
          • Face-to-face handover at pickup with detailed feedback about the day
